Kokedama Workshop

November 30 at 5:30 pm

Learn about the Japanese style of growing plants in moss-covered mud balls. Each participant will take home their own kokedama creation!

October 25:  Holiday Cacti

Learn how to care for Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter cacti. Participants will be able to plant a cutting to take home!

November 29:  Norfolk Island Pine

Learn how to care for the lovely Norfolk Island Pine tree that can be grown year-round in your home!

December 7:  Poinsettias

Learn all about Poinsettias and how to keep them alive after the holidays are over.

All About Bulbs Workshop

Learn about different kinds of plant bulbs, when to plant, when to dig, how to store and how to care for them.

Jacob Crider works as an educator and naturalist at Creasey Mahan Nature Preserve, where he teaches classes and programs on wildlife, environmental science and sustainability and works on the grounds as a forest steward and gardener. He studied sustainability and environmental analysis at the University of Louisville. Join this free event to learn more about the basics of developing a certified wildlife habitat right in your own back yard.
